In normal times, Spring would see your waiting room and reception full of clients. Our spring videos would be educating your clients about risks to their pets at this time of year.
This year it’s a little different, but that doesn’t mean those toxins aren’t still around. With all the new dog owners out there, we can expect just as many chocolate accidents as usual – if not more! In fact, the Pet Poison Helpline reported a 43% increase in calls in 2020 compared to the previous year. With chocolate, xylitol, and grapes and raisins still being the most commonly encountered pet poisons in Spring.
Video available to download for your social media channels and website
To try to support your team and your clients over the Spring and Easter break, we’ve made our Easter Goodies video available for download. This means you can publish them on your Facebook Page, Instagram, and any other social media your practice uses. You can even email it out to your clients as part of a Spring newsletter!

The video goes over the three top poisons associated with this time of year, lists symptoms, and asks clients to call you immediately if they think their pet has ingested anything toxic.
We’re hoping that, by giving you access to the download, you’ll be able to spread the word to your clients and avoid some of these common toxin exposures, or at least see the patients quickly when they occur. Simply log into you account and visit the ‘social media’ category to view the video and download.
Wishing you and your team a very Happy Easter.
