These Terms and Conditions govern your usage of your Vet Channel
programme and equipment (screen (s), DVD player)
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully as they affect
your liabilities under the law. By broadcasting the programme
you are deemed to accept them. If you do not agree to these

TVC Equipment Configuration
The Vet Channel is designed as a "Closed
System". This means that
your equipment (screens & Vetpod or DVD player) are connected
together in a way that does
not allow the equipment to
receive an external TV broadcast signal. The Vet Channel is
installed as a Closed System therefore does
not require a TV Licence.
If your equipment is reconfigured or connected to an external
TV broadcast signal. (BBC, ITV, SKY Box, Free View, etc.)
you are in breach of The Vet Channel Tems of Use Agreement
& Programme License.
The Vet Channel will not be held responsible for any costs
or actions taken against a practice (s) or person (s) by the
Broadcast Licensing Authories resulting from missuse or reconfiguration
of The Vet Channel Equipment.
The Programme Content.
The copyright and all other rights
to the material contained on our media library or the programme
disc are owned by The Vet Channel or are included with the
permission of the owner of the rights. All background music
is Royalty Free, therefore exempt from MCPS-PRS licensing
regulations. Unauthorised recording, copying, loan, hire,
public showing or broadcasting of this material outside of
the licenced premises is prohibited. The copyright owner has
licenced this programme for licence holders only for the period
of the agreement.
Please be aware:
The Vet Channel is designed with the
practice in mind, therefore to broadcast The Vet Channel Programme
on correctly configured equipment DOES
NOT require a TV Licence, Performing Rights or Public Performance
Licence.

to our clients we have provided the following links to obtain
information on the legalities of broadcasting non Vet Channel
material.
Under Copyright legislation, if you play music or broadcast
an external TV signal in your waiting room, or if you play
music when telephone callers are on hold, you need a licence(s).
Failure to obtain a licence(s) could result in legal action
for copyright infringement and you may become liable to pay
damages and costs.
